Dwarf Nose
Dwarf Nose
After making fun of an old lady, the boy Jacob turns into an ugly dwarf.
Jakob, a handsome little boy, lives in a small city with his mother. He helps her out at the market, where he has a lot of fun watching people and making fun of them. One day, he makes fun of an old woman. Then she turns him into an “ugly dwarf” and sets him to work for her. She doesn’t let him go for seven years, by which point he has become a master chef. Returning home, his own mother no longer recognizes him and the people make fun of him and call him “dwarf nose”. Forlorn, he runs away and ultimately applies for a job at the royal court, where he cooks to the delight of the king until happiness suddenly appears in front of him.
