We are living in times of crisis, and of seemingly ever-accelerating change. We have learned to adapt to this change, to cope with it. But time and again we are taken by surprise when events occur that unsettle us, that we had not expected, that don’t fit into the picture we have created.
Fear of the unknown is the worst of all advisers. It saps our motivation, paralyses our will to create solutions, and inhibits our resistance to what appears to be the inevitable. Yet we still all easily fall victim to it.
What might help us resist the fear? Active flexibility and adaptive curiosity are two strategies we discuss with our guests in the kick-off event of our Counterqestions series.
The events are offered as online events.
The events will be held in German and English.
As soon as accessibility to the Humboldt Forum is possible, the events will be available on a hybrid basis.
The events in the series are free of charge.
