What can a pair of red high-heeled shoes tell about an escape from the GDR? What does the price of a coffee pot in 1990 testify? And what family history from the time of the German division does a mixer preserve?
Based on numerous interviews with contemporary witnesses and on the basis of everyday objects, the theatre maker Anya Deubel and the object theatre collective Agencia EL SOLAR explore the multifaceted life stories and biographical breaks in the GDR period and after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
On this evening, Anya Deubel and other contemporary witnesses will present the project that, as a result of the pandemic, has changed from a live format to a digital archive of narrative things.
