»Are we lost to the world? In ›staubkinder‹ by Toula Limnaios, eight dancers create an unstable, surrealistic world. The title of the piece is a word created by the choreographer and at the same time a symbol of our current existence - in all its complexity, crisis and uncertainty about the future. The 6th movement of Gustav Mahler's 3rd Symphony in Leonard Bernstein's interpretation gives expression to the alienation and emotional turmoil associated with these life circumstances. How does one find (back) into a state of harmony with oneself? Where is the island one calls home? ›Dust‹ , so the hope, can be understood here not only as a gloomy symbol of transience, but at the same time as the unifying primal ground of all life.«
