French soprano Sabine Devieilhe dedicates her Pierre Boulez Saal debut program to eminent women and diverse images of women in music history. Together with pianist Mathieu Pordoy, she presents a wide range of works exploring romantic ideals and declarations of love while also including lullabies from different traditions and works by artists such as Lili Boulanger, Cécile Chaminade, and Germaine Tailleferre, who became successful composers in the years around 1900.
