"bluesundfutschi" was a monthly concert series organized by four neighbors in the old Kreuzberg corner pub "Billard Eck" from 2013 until Corona started. Many Berlin blues musicians, including the Pugsley Buzzard Band, and guests from all over the world performed there. People met at eye level and rocked each other up in their desire to play blues rock and dance blues rock. Many women loved the respectful, familiar and exuberant atmosphere. The evenings were opened together with the "Futschi auf's Haus", meaning the traditional corner pub drink, composed of cola and brandy.
The Pugsley Buzzard Band brings these unforgettable moments back to life, connecting people of all ages and nations through their entrancing music. The five-piece band dances exuberantly through time and space. Weird honky tonk meets the magic of Zappa and invites beat poets Kerouac and Ginsberg for a drink. Pugsley Buzzard's compositions tell of vagabonds scarred by life and sing the songs of uprooted troubadours. Pugsley's raspy baritone gets under the skin and allows anyone with a heart in their chest to experience the love of life and the blazing flame of passion. With him, the first-class band celebrates a big-easy party under the motto - Get The Buzz.
