On dark nights, stories are told about a ruler from long ago who was condemned to walk through a pyramid forever. Some say this is a legend. Others know: it is the truth!    

After a series of colossal bankruptcies, Hollywood director Jack Arnold dreams of a grandiose comeback. He therefore wants to film his new horror film “The Mummy” in a very authentic way in a real pyramid. With generous bribes he secures permission to film - and ends up in a place of horror. No human soul has set foot on this pyramid for centuries, and for good reason.

Soon Arnold not only has to contend with the capricious diva Laura Ingalls and his incompetent film crew, but also with a sinister curse and a creature that has just been waiting for an opportunity to return...
