Recent works for violin and viola with and without electronics are at the center of Michael Barenboim’s program. Joined by electronic musician Gilbert Nouno, he performs Pierre Boulez’s Anthèmes 2, written in 1997, and compositions by Benjamin Attahir, Naji Hakim, Layale Chaker, and Philippe Manoury, as well as Kareem Roustom’s Pavane, which the two artists premiered at the Pierre Boulez Saal in December 2024.
