Improvisational theatre in the open air competition
After last year's success, the improv ensemble Theatersport Berlin will once again make a guest appearance at Open O. The city's first spontaneous theater troupe brought what is probably the most original form of theater to Berlin 26 years ago (!) and has really been able to establish itself here. Two teams compete against each other in the art of theatrical improvisation. The suggestions for spontaneous scenes and songs come directly from the audience. It could hardly be more topical, every change in our daily lives is mirrored on stage. The audience decides who scores each time. Theatersport Berlin is a colorful ensemble of acting professionals who can use the many possibilities of the open air stage in a variety of ways. Their interactive, immediate play produces an amazing experience beyond comedy and slapstick with the least means, fantasy-promoting and rousing. The finale is the grand open air closing event of the Impro Globe series!
