Carrie - the Musical
Carrie - the Musical
Trigger warning: bullying, blood. Flickering lights and strobe effects are used towards the end of Act 2.
Carrie White is a shy and reserved girl who is bullied by her classmates and oppressed by her strictly religious mother Margaret. When Carrie discovers her extraordinary telekinetic powers, she unleashes a chain of dramatic events that lead to a furious climax. With a powerful blend of haunting music, intense emotion and a timeless story of exclusion, toxic love and revenge, the musical “Carrie”, based on Stephen King's novel, explores the boundaries between fear and hope, between shadow and light.

Stageink was founded in Berlin in the winter of 2009 and has since staged several very different productions. Highlights of recent years include HEATHERS (German-language premiere), BE MORE CHILL (new translation) and KOPFKINO (first production since the world premiere in 2017). Stageink has been operating as an association again since August 2016 and brings together a colorful mix of people who sing, act and dance with great passion and commitment. The association also stands for diversity and queerness. It has established collaborations in the form of small concerts at the Sonntagsclub in Prenzlauer Berg and at SchwuZ, Germany's oldest queer club.
