BOULEZ ENSEMBLE XXXIII
SCHUBERT, BOULEZ II
A few days after the opening in March 2017, Pierre Boulez’s Dérive 2 was first heard in the concert hall that bears his name. Now Daniel Barenboim and the Boulez Ensemble once again explore this highly complex score, one of the most remarkable in the composer’s oeuvre, in back-to-back programs, which are preceded by a performance in Paris as part of the second Pierre Boulez Biennale. Dérive 2 is complemented by Schubert’s two late piano trios, for which Daniel Barenboim is joined by Michael Barenboim and Kian Soltani.Pierre Boulez BiennaleIn cooperation with Philharmonie de Paris
