In 2022, Betterov released ‘OLYMPIA’, a highly acclaimed top 5 album, followed by the extension ‘OLYMPIA (Ehrenrunde Deluxe)’ in October 2023, including new tracks and guest contributions from Paula Hartmann, Blumengarten and Provinz, which made him famous beyond the German indie pop scene. In 2022, Betterov won the Prize for Pop Culture, played at Late Night Berlin, Inas Nacht and Studio Schmitt and crowned the packed festival summer with a sold-out headlining tour. After that, things went quiet in the public sphere for a while, while in his room the decision grew to place his own upbringing more proactively than ever at the centre of a new large-scale musical project. At the end of this journey is now a new, second album that feels much more focussed than its predecessor. Once again, Betterov has recorded the new songs in collaboration with producer Tim Tautorat.

Before the release of the next album, Betterov will be performing solo at the piano in special places - with one or two new songs in his luggage, of course.
