Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 has become an icon in the world of virtuoso instrument and orchestral-playing. Ravel’s music for »Daphnis et Chloë« is distinctly sophisticated. Conceived as a ballet, it nevertheless found audiences in the concert hall. And in 2014, the Italian composer Luca Francesconi wrote »Dentro non ha Tempo« for large orchestra which shines with equal radiance.
