A charming couple travels with two guitars, two voices, a megaphone and a loop station, singing about life's little moments. Open Air.
The 2PersonOrchestra "kleineReise", Katharina Uhland and Florian Thunemann have lived up to all forms of togetherness. They travel with two guitars, two voices, a megaphone and a loop station. Fine sounds come out of it, so that you can still hear the held breath of the audience. Mostly in German, sometimes in English they sing about the moments of life you would rather have forgotten. And all the others, too. For their lyrics they make use of what they encounter on their journey. So sometimes lyrics can be found in their songs that they already had to struggle with on theater stages. Farewell letters that have never seen the inside of a mailbox. They tell of love and of relationship, of not-love and not-relationship, of living and letting live. Sometimes about animals. Their survival trick for the turmoil of what is called life is humor. That's how - when things go well - lightness comes in: "Without music, life would be a mistake" (Nietzsche). With too, but it's a bit more fun!
The two acoustic seduction artists recorded their third album "Weltwürger*in" last year and had to postpone their CD release concert again and again due to pandemic.
