Three Weeks of Contemporary Irish Theatre and performance
For three weeks, the IRISH THEATRE BERLIN festival presents contemporary theater and performances from Ireland: Pan Pan and Brokentalkers are among the world's most sought-after Irish acts, who have been performing at international festivals and touring internationally for years. They are joined by the wild, Berlin-based performer Dee Mulrooney and director and producer Jim Culleton's company Fishamble. Like Pan Pan and Brokentalkers, Fishamble has also won numerous international theater awards. Two performances of the Beckett classic "Happy Days", directed by Beckett's former collaborator and long-time friend Walter D. Asmus, conclude the look at Ireland.
